Why doesn't any one talk about hard saltwater abuse????

Take this same reel and make it where NO salt gets into it and it's really corrosion resistant and ya'll have something then.

@cossvp True, thats weird I wonde why? I tested a spinning reel today and man was it sweet, if the baitcast is anything like the spinning I'll pick some up. I'm going to call tackle warehouse and see why they don't carry US Reels. I'll keep you posted.

Have not been able to get info on bass pro or tackle warehouse issue, i have been fishing a IT Monster Jack swimbait with the Pro 1000 and have had no issues, that is a HEAVY wooden bait. My only issue with the 1000 is that sometimes 10 lb test and smaller will get between the housing and spool, a tolerance issue. As for the 700 & 800, to early to tell, the spinning reels ROCK.

@cossvp Thats amazing. Do you have any idea why Bass Pro nor Tackle Warehouse carry the Supercaster? Cabelas is the only big name I've found that carries the Supercaster.
