Bandwidth Presents: The Jane Bradfords Valentine's Day Session

Bandwidth Films presents a new music video podcast, a series of live performances from a variety of acts, updated regularly.

Brooding electronic soul band The Jane Bradfords throw away their laptops and bring us a Valentine's inspired session - featuring guest musicians Ruairi Dempsey on fiddle and Stu Bell on pedal steel guitar.

  • Is there a mild reference to the REM tune, Be Mine....taken from the album, New Advenures in Hi-Fi........when singing "you & me"...sounds very, very similar...Which is a good thing.

  • These compositions are on another level in comparison with your previous recordings, it's not even a matter of you being my friend at this point, I'm simply amazed, I think you need to record some of these arrangements, maybe it's my love of Bright Eyes and Ryan Adams that makes me connect with this version of 99 more immediately, but it's special, there is a depth that is gripping, if this is a direction you plan on going in, than by all means go, it's brilliant.
