You'll also see some clips from when I met Sandman's creator, Neil Gaiman, at a book signing. Including the geeky fanboy question I asked him (sub-titled, since you can't really hear what I'm saying - but you can hear his response just fine).

BARELY managed to squeeze this one under the time limit...thank god they seem to give you a few seconds' grace time...

Most likely, it will never be made to an insultingly bad movie, because no one has the balls to attempt it. :D

They thought LOTR was insanely hard to make... Could you imagine how hard sandman would be? OMFG /wrists.

Quite true! Although there IS a Death movie in the works, based on the second mini-series. I think Sandman COULD be done, but it would either have to be like a 3-4 hour movie per volume, or a serialized big budget TV series. If I ever make it big as a director, I'd LOVE the chance to tackle it. I'd make sure it was done RIGHT, dammit!

The Kindly Ones/The Wake had the most epic ending I've ever seen in modern literature. I don't think anything will ever come close.

I think the death movie is going to be based off of the "High cost of Living" book, so It won't be too hard to make from a technical standpoint. But damn, I'd want to see a Sandman movie.
