Here is a recreation of Thames Television continuity which is supposed to lead into an episode of Coronation Street which unfortunately leads into a holding slide accompanied by some music from String Scene (on Channel 4's The Theme), a track from Macchu Picchu and Ten Four (from Almost Together, which accompanies the ORACLE teletext pages transmitted after the Thames clock. Enjoy!!!!

'Now on this particular channel' - You would be straight upstairs mate lol. Not using the ident would be nearly as bad a dead air.

I agree, I mean in my view, even though i enjoy it, just delving into old footage is time consumingly nostalgically warped itself let alone recreating the stuff! :S

"And now on this particular channel"! It's called Thames!. And usually anouncers would say something like:"I do appologise but we are currently experiencing some tecnical difficulties in bringing you the scheduled programme"/ " We are regrettably unable to bring you the scheduled programme as billed" as the LWT crowd would usualy put it. But it does bring back memories how TV channels would sometimes 'break down' back in the day.

You could at least get the Thames font right.
I must admit that I find all this stuff staggeringly pointless. Still, if it keeps you happy ...
