I'm 26 and I still love this movie. It has a perfect creepy/dark ambiance. Children's movies aren't made like that anymore, all sparkles, sunshine, and fluff but no substance. Only difference now is I sometimes have to grit my teeth and bare through some of the corny lines from the kids --.

There are a lot of double standards about drugs in this country.

This is my childrens all time favorite movie to watch at Hallowe'en. Too bad we could not find it in stores, but loved to watch it on here. Thank you so much for allowing us to relive a happy childhood memory. My sons were 4 and 6 and now they are 26 and 28.

If this were made today, 3 of the friends would probably be asian, black, and hispanic.

Actually, there were eight boys in the book instead of three boys and one girl. In the book, Pip would gain eighty years. I'd say that's pretty generous.
