You can make rope out of anything that is pliable and can be broken down into strips, like napkins, spiderwebs, plastic bags+ anyother flexible plastics, tree/plant fibers, root bark, rootlets, pounded branches, vines, clothing, smaller strings, animal hide, tendon, grass, leaves, wires, etc. Every situation has different materials to work with. Be good with what you got instead of sticking to what's comfortable and easy. Dogbane is easy, but isn't found everywhere it doesn't grow! hmph.... It is good for learning and the fibers are amazing though.
