Appledore 3, Alexandra Palace London Festival of Railway Modelling 2011

OO gauge model railway of fictitious North Devon line from Bideford. Note that this layout features a DCC North British diesel hydraulic Type 2 (later Class 22) - and very rare, it features sound! Not sound of course from one of the class as they are extinct, but a Hymek apparently - sounds great though! Enjoy. More to follow...

a hymek sounds nothing like an nbl engine.

the class 14 has half a class 29 paxman engine which sounds similar though and was the type fitted when the 21 became the 29 so almost!

in fact the hst 125 uses or used an uprated version of the class 14 engine (ventura was developed into valenta).
