Durham Red Comic Strip Trailer

Here's an experimental "Mock Trailer" for the 2000 AD comic Character "Durham Red" I did a while back. Just zooming in and panning an image for the most part, but occasionally I layered the image in PhotoShop and did a little simple parallax animation. The movie was built in Final Cut Pro and special effects like "bloom" were added in Motion. The music was a second attempt; (first being the overused Clint Mansell track "Requiem for a tower"). This is a remixed version of "The Howling" on "The Heart of Everything" album by Within Temptation. ( a group whose music I was introduced to by watching games clips trailers made by other users!)

UPDATE: March 2009 Due to the Warners Music Group action I've been forced to remove the Within Temptation track and substitute 101% girl from YouTube's own library (weird- but it kinduv works) I'm not happy about this, especially since WMG should realise that it was a fan trailer just like this that put me onto Within Temptation and resulted in me buying their entire CD back catalog! Money for them and the WMG! See it for what it is Warners, a bit of fun that gets you and your artists free advertising and exposure of your music. Don't be killjoys because you can!
