They called it a sport. Its Preposterous,These people who engage in this, got no heart, plain and simple. Wanna shoot something? Do it right, get a target and aim at that, or go to the gun range, see what your shooting skills got to offer there.

@sammon217, the only reason wolves go after livestock is because of a shortage in their natural prey and a shortage in habitat. How would you feel if your home was destroyed and then you did what you had to to survive, but people just started to kill your family? Please just think about that. I qm not trying to sound mean, but I am a huge animal lover and wolves are my favourite animals. If you look at some studies, it shows wolves will only kill us if they are sick or injured or are old. Sorry

there is some point to follow to do a proper kill..to call it a sport you should not..

shot an animal stuck in the snow.

    Animal shot in water.

    Animal shot on the ice.

    Animal stuck in a trap.

Animal shot while he is locked behind barriers where it can not escape.

Animal shot in defiance of the laws of hunting outside the season.

Animal shot with a light at night.

Animal fired from a vehicle or a motorboat.

Or by any other method considered contrary to good sportsmanship

We have far too many humans. Do we go out and shoot them? Over-population is the most hypocritical reason us humans use to kill.

Wolves are not endangered in Idaho. They have been "delisted" by the federal government in Idaho as well as in Montana and eastern Washington. Reality is we have far too many of them.

I almost got in a fight with a rancher on my way up into idaho about how there are other ways to lead wolves away from livestock without killing them. Wolves were here first. your livestock can be saved by other methods than just killing endangered animals. Its your own laziness and greediness that keeps you from thinking about the possibilities that could prevent wolves from attacking your livestock without having to desimate an endangered species.
