i hate singers like alex, meriah carey etc etc.. they hit the note allright.... then spend the next 8 years hitting every other note up down and around the entire scale. it sounds shit!. leona hits the note..... holds it....... owns it. not "hit it warble warble warble"......PSSt..."i think i hit the right one in there somewhere".... pisses me off.

@antonyaiken lmao that is called melisma (a vocal run) Alex doesnt do them Leona does them more lol. Mariah is master of them and she does them on pitch and with accuracy they are perfect so dont complain :p

They are both amazing, Alex's voice is alot more powerful than Leona's and to be fair to Alex she didn't have any training before x factor where as Leona did but yeah big fan of both but i prefer Alex!

Lower register: Alexandra destroys. Way better support. Leona has no voice below C4.

Belting: Alexandra. Especially nowadays. Her technique may not be the absolute best, but she's improved a lot. Leona's voice is placed higher, but her notes above D5 thin out considerably and are strained as shit. Plus, I loathe her vibrato.

Head Voice: Tie. Leona uses it more and hits higher notes, but that's it.

Alexandra wins. Leona's voice is HIGHER, not better.
