Melted Crayon on Embossed Paper

A quick little demo showing how to melt crayons on an embossed paper surface. Use a Cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss paper/cardstock then melt crayons using a small craft iron with variable temperature. Do not let crayons smoke! Do not leave unattended. Not suitable for children. There may be other cautions that I have missed so beware and if you regularly work with wax please leave a comment on any further cautions that you know of.

This is a fun quick technique to color paper.

It is a clover mini iron. Michaels' has them in the fabric/quilting section. I emboss with a cuttlebug and cuttlebug embossing folder, however there are other ways to emboss...

Does not affect the colour or gloss of your work. Apply in thin coats. Drying time approx.1 hour. Bottle 75 ml (2.5 fl.oz) $9.25 U.S. I HAVE NOT TRIED IT, just found the reference.
