    Yet, in the end the trade unions smashed them so severely that the prime minister lost his own seat! :D

    Labor saved us from the GFC, only uneducated idiots like yourself think the Liberals could have done a better job at handling it. Look at the statistics above, that was the result of their incompetence!

  • @MrReco12 Keating put this country into debt and caused interest rates to run at 17%. I was runnig my own business back then and lost everything due to the high interest rates. Dragged this country into the mire,Tell me why it is that everytime Labor comes inot power the country goes into debt. when the Libs were in power they smahed the trade unions - especially the water side workers who could only load 12 container in a day where as China could triple that. now Labor has us in debt once more
