The Chinese government lifted the country from a poor third world nation to a superpower in 30 years. This is a unique achievement. The governance of a country of 1.33 billion may call for different political systems to those of smaller countries.
Beijing 2008 was the apex of a long journey. Some of us overseas Chinese suffer from the guilt of not having physically contributed to the renewal of our country perhaps its time to go home (or just shut up).
