The really horrible trouble with legislation like this is that in order for the Supreme Court to determine the constitutionality of a law like this, somebody has to bring a lawsuit. In order to bring a lawsuit, you have to have legal standing, which is (basically) a beef. You have to show you have been harmed. But with blanket surveillance...nobody even knows when they've been "violated."

Terrific. Does this mean they can confiscate my vote. That's ok though, because if voting changed anything they would make it illegal.

Wow -- you guys are as angry as I am about this crap. I still think America is the best country in the world -- but we definitely need to get the Liars out of power.
How about the Death Penalty for violating the Trust of the American people? How about Capital Punishment for Capital Crimes - like Goldman Sachs or for those who commit crimes in the Capitol?

the whole system is corrupt,

Hey all you people, lets do something about this shitty amendment to FISA act. write to your congressman and show them what your district wants. oh wait, nevermind. u don't give them enough campaign money like all the other corporations for your voice to be heard. sad, isn't it?

The 4th Amendment, or any of the provisions in the Bill of Rights, can NOT be taken away. That's why they're called INALIENABLE RIGHTS. These are etched in stone. Any government, or elected official, that attempts to abrogate these RIGHTS should be tarred, feathered, and set adrift on a leaky rubber raft.
