my headphones are a Sunrise Xcape IE and to my despair I found SIX wires in the cable. red, green, blue, copper, red-copper stripe, blue-copper stripe. any ideas? just felt like askin since everyone else is.

@zzlint The red and green are most likely the audio, the blue is prob the microphone (or other accessory), and the copper is the ground.

@BigCatSupreme You probably need the plug shown in either my first or second video- They are hyperlinked in this video. In my first video I show a plug u need to solder on, the 2nd video shows a plug that you do not need to solder- just follow the steps I show in the first vid. Sorry if that is confusing! Let me know if you need more help!

pich- i have a pair of skullcandys with a red, blue, and gold wire. theres no microphone, but there is a bass booster.
any help?
@RichsMethods Hey Rich, thanks for the video man. This really helps a lot. One question about the red/green and white (the mic/volume cable) - I don't quite get what you said on 5:57 even after reviewing 3:13. Which one is the LARGE OUTSIDE CONNECTOR again? So the red/green goes to the sleeve, and the white goes to?

@tejizo It's the connector I have in my left hand at the 3:10 time-point. It's the largest connector, around 1 inch long. Also, originally in the video I connected the red/green and the white wire to that large connector but my volume adjustment didn't work anymore (the microphone did though). I had a user comment that the white wire should be connected to the large connector, but the red/green wire should be connected to the ground connector - continued next comment.

@tejizo Continued from last comment- the ground connector is the connector that is sticking out at a diagonal. You will also be connecting the ground (the copper wire) to this connector as well. I have not tried this myself and basing this off of what a user told me (which worked for him). Let me know if it works for you as well! Feel free to ask if you have more problems. Thanks!

@Mar10Man94 That is a good question. I'll let you know if I find anything, but I'm not sure where they go.
