Chico is an 8 year old, 17 pound terrier mix. This engaging, sensitive fellow enjoys being with people. Chico is bright and responds to treats for training. When relaxed at home, he might be more likely to get into his toys, which should be encouraged; his playful side will come out. He is an intrepid hiker and didn't even get too tired after 1 1/2 hours. He is good in a car, as well. This cute little dog would like some help with learning to trust strangers and to feel comfortable being handled. The right family will be lucky to take him home for the rest of his life!

The Marin Humane Society is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Wednesdays until 6:30 p.m. Closed Mondays and Holidays.
