  • They must have been asleep the last time I saw this video. The lights were out. Very cool. You guys are the Stingray masters!!!

  • We just recently rescued these 4 new ones. We also got the huge 360 gallon tank in! The one you saw was only 125 gallons, just to give you an idea.

They were in horrid water and they were all suffering from severe ammonia toxicity, tissue necrosis and fungal/bacterial infections. We have them all nursed up to awesome health now, and they all have little J-Lo booties!

  • Ah, I love mozart's requiem.

  • My personal favorite.

  • You have an absolutely fantastic aquarium.

  • Haha, that would be quite the painful hug, lol.

Her name is Moxie, or Mox. And she is nuts and super hyperactive. We haven't see her do it in a while, but that's just one of her many little tricks, ha. We'll have to shoot her spitting water or flapping her disc across the water's edge sometime.

  • That's not strange. That guy just wanted a hug lol.

  • damn. very cool

  • If you leave heaters uncovered in a stingray tank, they tend to rest on them. When they do that for long periods of time (or with strong heaters) their discs get severely burned. They are exothermic, so they are constantly moving towards warm water. Where is the warmest water in the tank? The heater.

  • Ahh! Now we see the invisible ray! Good job on the rescue. I never had one, when I had my salt water tank, but they sure are beautiful.

Are you studying to be a marine biologist?

  • That's an awful story. How did they manage to burn them? With the lighting?
