  • Is it remotely possible to get this tone in front of a clean channel amp because I tried with these settings and the tone sounds like fake crap. Any advice to a new user? I use a Blackstar amp and Schecter Blackjack with JB bridge pup.

  • @BlackStarFan007

If you connect the G3 to a clean channel amp than it's vital you set the output parameter in the global settings otherwise it will sound like crap.

Manual page 19 section 4: "To select the connected equipment".

Try all settings to see which one works for you.

  • Jeez! I believe you when you say the backing track has no guitar... but unless you pay VERY close attention and do an a-b swap, you can't hear the difference! Well done indeed!

Where'd you get the backing track? :)

  • @WlatAmArsh

    Thanks.

The link for the backingtrack is in my opening post/description and also in the video itself (0:51).

  • Zoom needs to pay you. You make great demo's. Far better than most company pedal demo's cause you show how to get "the tone" All other multipedal demo's are generic and play all those tones most of us never use. I'm sold on the G3 by your tone demo's..

  • Very impressive...This little box seems to be able to pull off a wide range of sounds and styles...It's on my radar for purchase...

  • NICE BRO!!!Is that direct into PC or in front of your amp? I just bought one of these and plan to use it in front of my Blackstar amp. I hope I can get close results to your tone. You wouldn't happen to have a lesson on how to play this would you? I can pick up some of what you are doing, but not all of it.

  • That was really cool.

    Nice video!

I haven't really thought about how Boston got their sound until recently

checking out chorus pedals. And the chorus really reminded me of Boston sound.

  • FANTASTIC!!!

What of kind WOOD and PICKUPS has your guitar?

Where can I get the PLAYBACKS?

    I LOVE "BOSTON"!!!!

    Greating

  • FANTASTIC!!!

What of kind WOOD and PICKUPS has your guitar?

  • If you had to choose between the Zoom 2.1, g3 or the 9.2tt and the price wasn't a big deal what would you choose?

    Nice playing by the way

  • Hey, Nice job. I just ordered up a Zoom G3 and cant wait to get it. So now I stumbled onto your videos here and it is making more anxious to get this thing. I always have liked Zoom products. I curently have a G2.1U, G2R, B2.1U and a R24. I been trying to find my way with some individual analog pedals without much luck and decided to go with G3.
