The pictures are by David Michael Kennedy who shot the Nebraska cover, and also some of these other pics of Bruce in upstate NY.

@jrpipik He did sort of put it on Nebraska as the first line from this became "My name is Joe Roberts, I work for the state.." which is the first line in Highway Patrolman, track 5 on Nebraska!! But I can also see the lyrical links to Highway 29. Good old Bruce, keeping us on or toes.

With 17 songs, he had to leave something off. I keep hoping they'll release an expanded version with all the songs he left off plus the full band recordings.
Bruce rewrote it as"Highway 29" on Ghost of Tom Joad.
