very helpful - many thanks for posting.

play some blues, play some rock wiggle the whammy, instead of listing guitar parts, that most players already know.....boring 7 minutes wasted, everyone wants to know how it sounds not how you sound
-
@GuitarAriaFreak1010 Yeah, most signature guitars are overpriced based on the signature, the quality of the guitar would pretty much be identical to a cheaper non signature guitar.....
-
k weird that js100 has a edge pro ...instead of the edgeIII thats not right at all ...edge pro's come on the 2500.00 Jems not 700.00 JS100.

just bought this guitar a few days ago upgraded the pick ups and its a fantastic guitar ,superb action and set up straight from shop, went to the shop with the intention of buying a telecaster but found this a much nicer guitar!!!

@ashwalyeo okay thanks I will go to a music store tommorow but I guess they won't have the JS series in that shop but I can try some RG's to see how the frets and the body are. But are second hand JS100's better than new ones because they are older or something like that?
-
@GuitarAriaFreak1010 Well it depends on person preference I guess, JS100's are great if you can get a good one second hand. Thing I didn't like about the RG was the frets are massive and I didn't like the body. Best off going to a music store to test some out, see what you think is best. I got a JS100 second hand and bought some DiMarzio pick-ups (the same as on Joe's new guitar), and I love the guitar.

@ashwalyeo I know this is already a comment from a month ago but was your guitar a RG350DX? I might want to buy it but I'm also thinking about the JS100 or maybe a Ibanez RG1570z. I heard good things about the RG350DX but is a JS100 realy better? The JS100 is more expensive and I heard that it's kinda overpriced because it's a signature.. Kinda confused on what to buy now..
-
@lastdimestudios I just sold a RG350, was horrible; shape of the guitar sticks into the body, middle pick-up is useless and gets in the way and the fretboard is just a joke, the frets are massive. Found the pickups on the JS a lot better too.

I have one of these, great guitar really for the price. I have one of the original ones with the different Floyd Rose. I would say you need to get it setup or set it up yourself (especially if you buy 2nd hand), I spent about 4 hours setting it up, when the intonation is set right and the Floyd set correct for the string gauge it sounds great. Some people have even put the DiMarzios on these guitars.
boring lotta of bla bla bla bla, what about the guitar sound?
