@OpsInChain You will still get the same amount of skill points he mentioned. Perception is just a preference, agility would work well with a sneak character aswell.

No point of having 5 strength if you're not planning to use close combat, which means that you can easily lower it to 4 or 3.

Strength is factored into whether or not you can handle each gun properly.
For instance if you have less than 8 strength while using the Anti-materiel rifle, you will get a penalty to damage rating.
You have to be strong enough to use each weapon to it's maximum ability.
