Stratford Literary Festival 2011- Larry Lamb Highlights

Larry Lamb has made numerous TV and film appearances during his career and is best known for playing Archie Mitchell in the BBC television soap EastEnders, Michael Shipman in the BBC comedy
show Gavin & Stacey and Mischievous Marty in the cult sitcom Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? He has had roles in the film Buster, about the Great Train Robbers, Essex Boys and Superman, amongst many others, and has appeared in Minder, Lovejoy, A Touch of Frost, Our Friends in the North, Taggart, Casualty, Kavanagh QC, and Spooks, not to mention his appearance in an explosive episode last year of Famous Rich and Jobless. He'll be chatting about his rich and varied career, his childhood, how he modelled Archie
Mitchell on his own abusive father, and his memoir Mummy's Boy.
