Another #1 hit for Merle Haggard on the Country & Western charts. It was the 228th #1 C&W song of the Rock Era. It also hit #5 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks charts. On a personal note, I think of my grandmother who was only one week away from turning 92 at her death. She was born in 1905 and was married to my grandfather for almost 52 years. MaMa (that's what we called her), we will never forget you.

I have this on an old 45 and I think it's Merle's box set Down Every Road. My favorite, reminds me of my grandmother and family. Merle is the best.
Thanks for the song upload!
