In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful,

May the peace of Allah and His mercy and blessings be upon you.

This Surah was revealed in Makkah.

This is the first and only video of Surat Al-A'la, recited by Sheikh Yahya Hawwa.

  • A.S brother and sisters, my tip for memorizing surahs is this. Dont just recite the surah but recite it by knowing what you say. Read the translations, read the tefsir. Before learning read those, then the memorizing will be much easier because, you ll notice the ayets, you ll say'' hey , i knew what this ayet meant''. All the meaning of the words will become clear. You cant translate every single word perfectly.
