ah ok.. wondered why mine wasn't working with camera. it's also 1.8T... audio worked fine though. nice vid.

@ArieRiswandyW - sorry i guess we should have stated this information to begin with :) we are currently only using firmware v1.7.2 due to some issues reported with v1.8T. hopefully we will see some custom roms available soon to tweak all the good stuff. Nebula Nerd @ xdadevelopers has done some great work with the Novo 8 firmware, to read about that search google for: [ROM] Ainol Novo 8 2.3.4 Rooted & G-Apps

@GadgetFreakzUK I'm using firmware 1.8 at the moment and the front camera won't work during video calls (also Skype v2.5.0.160). Are you using the 1.8 firmware? Thanks for responding mate!

@Interview29 - hello, the Novo 7 in our demo is the Novo 7 Advanced. The Novo 7 Basic processor is a MIPS XBurst which has compatibility issues with applications as most applications are developed for ARM. @johnbosco77 - bith cameras work with skype as demonstrated in this video... please be aware that both cameras may not work with some of the older firmware.
