[Guide] Elder Shen Gaoren with HR1 equipment part 1

please read.
I see that some people are asking for a how to spank the Shen Gaoren of the elder with a close range weapon ( other than hammer ^^ ).
I decided to make it.
Since the editing takes a lot of time, all informations will be there, nothing written on the video.

First thing first, as I show in the video, my equipment :

Weapon :
Name : Wyvern Blade 'Blood'
ATP ( raw ) : 768
Element : 250 Fire Attribute ( Gaoren is weak to fire and dragon )
Sharpness : good green

Armor:
Name : Full Monoblos
upped it lvl 11
defense per piece : 56
Resistances ( Fire/Water/Thunder/Ice/Dragon ) : 10/-5/-10/-5/-5
Slotted with danger jewels.
Activated skills :
Adrenaline +2
Health +30
Demonic Protection

Many guides will propose you to wear an armor that gives quake resistance, like the blango, but for this guide you need power. Since we are using low level equipment, we need to get power where we can, so I went for Adrenaline +2 that gives +30% attack and +90 defense.
You can do it with any armor set, but you will be able to kill him only with adrenaline +2. ( If you just want to clear the quest, then don't bother getting A+2 )

Now, on with the battle shall we ? ^^

The plan is really simple :
At the beginning, get your life down below 40% to get Adrenaline +2.
Now go to area 3, and go wait for him in the upper left part.
Whenever you can reach him with your sword, start hitting his closest leg.
You have to make him stagger two times on each leg ( they become dark red the first time, then bright red ).
This can make him flinch, giving you loads of hits on his head ( weakspot for blademasters ).

When his four legs are bright red, any stagger will make him trip. ( nice, isn't it ? )
But there is something better in this situation : if he is standing high on his legs and you make him stagger, he will fall down, and stay like that for 30 seconds !
That's the thing we're aiming for.

Well, that's pretty much how it will work.
With the same equipment as me, it will take two times the whole thing plus some hits to kill him.
Should be done in less than 25 minutes.

Just be careful with his legs. if the tip hits you, it can hurt really bad.
The quake is just annoying, so it's no big deal.
Oh ! and sometimes, his legs with like surf on the ground... unless you are sure of what you do, just wait for him to walk normally again.

Can you ask you few Questions? How can you put Adrenaline +2 on Monoblos because I have it, and I only have +1. If you're putting Decor, please tell me what Decoration you put. And how will you know if you have Felyne heroics? What will you eat?

For the decorations, it's written in the description : I used danger jewels.

Felyne Heroics has nothing to do with what you eat but with your cats' skills.

If they have felyne heroics, you have a chance to activate it when they cook.

Use the ingredients they are more familiar with to increase the odds.

I don't remember what I ate this time though.

Oh, and you do more damage If, you do 2 forward stabs, pierce, then back slash (Tri - Tri - O - Tri+O) when he's walking, or, if your spirit bar is full, 2 spirit attacks then the back hop (R - R - Tri+O)
