dude you need to get your foot in the door the only way your gonna get an apprenticeship is if you ask someone or become friends with an artist that works in a shop most artists need to know you for a period of time before they will even think about apprencting yeah but you can always bring your portfolio to a shop and have them take a look no harm no foul i started hanging out at this tattoo shop and getting to know the guys and one of the artists gave me an apprenticeship so keep it up man

ive been tattooing for 5yrs know so you need to find a tattoo artist that is willing to take you on remeber they dont wont to learn you do so they wont come to you you got to go to them thats my advice so good luck give that a try

@Burnout613 Thank you very much. I actually got an apprenticeship at a local and well respected shop in my area. Took almost 3 yrs. but it was definitely worth all the no's and let downs I got along the way! :)
