@ShaggyShagz13 Not sure how you would ever demonstrate or know that, but okay. So your mentality is that when you're within your own group or area you can be offensive because those who think like you do will cheer you on, or those who want to hear the other side and see what's going on (like me) will get what they expected (being insulted). Not a great policy. Yes, there is a difference, but both are still public (and you can ignore a billboard just as you would a YT comment).

@ShaggyShagz13 Also, never take anything I say too seriously, there is always the chance that I'm wrong or just being an ass. :)

@Sickopath333 I have more sympathy for believers than they have for me, but it isn't very much more. I figure it is no holds barred in the comments on a nonbeliever video because those that read my comments either agree with me or were expecting to be offended when they clicked the video and read the comments. They don't have to see my offensive posts everytime they drive down the road. YT is public but not in the same way as a billlboard on a road that they have to travel.

@ShaggyShagz13 I would take this comment a bit more seriously if it weren't for your top comment posted just a few scrolls up... it isn't really a matter of well, I do this in private, but I wouldn't do this in public especially since in this case the online world is very public. And I am not content when religious people lose their temper and hate upon non-believers (I've done it before, try not to), but a nasty disposition and attitude does not inspire trust or love.

@sybite No, that was GHW Bush. W said pretty much the same thing though.
-
@ShaggyShagz13 But, like I said, that's George W Bush. I don't think his dad ever said that.
-
@sybite George Bush was campaigning for the presidency, as incumbent vice-president, one of his stops was in Chicago, Illinois, on August 27, 1987. During an interview he told reporter, Robert I. Sherman, "No, I don't know that atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God" when asked if he recognized the equal citizenship and patriotism of Americans who are atheists.
-
@ShaggyShagz13 Alright then. But are you sure Bush Sr. ever said that? I only recall Dubya saying that.
-
@sybite You can't see the "s" after president? Have you never heard any of the previous presidents refered to as president? Typically, it means that you are refering to them from during their presidency. The typo is that I should have written "said" instead of "say" though both of the Bushs would probably still say the same thing they did before. Had I said president (nonplural) then I would have been taling about Obama. I wrote presidents (notice the "s").
-
@ShaggyShagz13 But you said "the president." And you said "the president" at a time when "the president" is Obama. When you say "the president" it means "the president" not the last president or the president before that.
Im offended by the indoctrination of children.

Fuck your god or gods. Fuck your churches and books. But most importantly, fuck your beliefs. You don't want to be confronted with the simple fact that your religion is bullshit but you want me to be constantly bombarded with your bullshit. You don't want us to be rude to you (neither do most of our best speakers) but want to steadily down us. The presidents even say that atheists aren't really citizens of this country. So again I say fuck you.
