Corvette C6 Z51 @ P.I.R. BMW HPDE Session 4 pt3

Session 4, part 3, of the intermediate A group @ the May 2010 BMW ACA Portland chapter HPDE @ Portland International Raceway. Finally bright and sunny.
2008 Corvette C6 Z51 / 417rwhp / 409rwtq / stock suspension / street tires.
At this point after a 1h+ on the track my alignment is all gone as you can judge by the position of the steering wheel in the straights. The rear eccentrics are slipping and even if I tighten them and torque them to spec. Looks like some camber plates and shims are next on the list, these slipping eccentrics have to go.
Still going strong and catching up the Beemers and even a race prepped older 911.

looks like you are running about 1:30 laps. Very respectable for a car on street tires.

Thx ! Yes I don't time my laps but it's in that range. the car does really well. its the first year I was tracking the vette and I am impressed by its capabilities. If anything it lacks a bit of steering feel but man it's fast and corners... still had stock suspension and leaf spring at the time too ! now has camber plates, coilovers and swaybars. cant wait for the next track day. more videos soon.

at the time car had headers, intake and tune, and some hi-temp brake fluid and braided hoses.

Tires are pirelli p-zero nero in 275x19 front and 305x20 rear on ccw sp550 wheels. using them street & track.

@HeavyRightFooT Are you in a club down in Portland? I raced in the SCCA for 8 years and Portland was one of my favorite tracks. I'd love to come down to a Corvette day sometime this summer. Let me know if there is a link to a club page. I just bought a C6 Z06 ( my first 'vette)and I'd love to hear what you think about the suspension upgrades you have done. (definitely know what you mean about the steering feel) Did you get the Phadt sway bars? Thanks - hope to see you in Portland sometime!
