The Mackenzie Phillips interview on Oprah prompted me to post this. I agree with her that we must put a face on the victims of of this abuse. Woman of sexual abuse speaks out!

  • You are a truly amazing woman for really telling it like it is. Thank you. You speak for me as well. Someday, I hope to do exactly what you are doing here. Tell it like it is...

  • My thoughts and prayers are with you. It is a process to gain your voice and as you know you will get some critics. People will want you to be quiet...no one wants to hear about it and usually there are those that want you to just get over it.

  • i wish i could hug you. im just one woman out here watching this, you break my heart, i only say what i said cause to me, thats all that can be said. Girl, let something good in.

  • Thank you for your kind words! My largest burden is for the children he continues to molest/abuse. I just wanted to show the impact this has on a woman/person and that is needs to stop. I do have a relationship with God and thank you for your encouragement.

  • In our society more incest sexual abuse victims are coming forward everyday. I too am a victim, and I struggled my whole life for survival. Ther were many threats of death, and many times when he choked me I passed out. He knew just how long to choke me, and me not die, he said he was a tough Marine, and he knew how to kill people. The terror in our home was horrible! As an abuse victim we must keep trying to save our childrens future.

  • call you gov and tell them you wont new laws

  • Very strong stuff, madam. I'm sorry that this happened to you. How much better the world would be, without all this dulling misery.

  • Okay...whether or not this story is true, and if it is, I'm so sorry for this woman. However, I think I saw her on True Life on MTV "I live a double life" and she was an anna nicole impersonater....I get really leery about people who are constantly trying different venues to get into the limelight...like I said, i THINK this is her. if its true, I'm so sorry but I do think its a bit fishy.

  • It's never the child's fault. You are beautiful and perfect just the way you are. I have self esteem issues as well, not from molestation but from constant judgmental remarks growing up. It's a work in progress to get over it. My cousin whom I love so much, for years was raped by her older brother and when she was 16 pressed charges after about 1 1/2 years after the last time on him and it was dismissed due to lack of evidence. Our family judges her and I will always defend her.
