Thank you for counting up the races! We're a bit over three-quarters of the way through. Please keep sending me numbers!

For now, here is some more online footage of interesting stuff when I was playing that day.

Race #4
GBA Shy Guy Beach
Like Grumble Volcano or N64 Sherbet Land, this is a problem track, deliverately chosen by some people who want to get some easy VR. In this case, Shy Guy Beach has some really wide offroad portions that extend pretty deep into the course. They don't slow you down much as you're required to cross some of them, which means that people will pick vehicles with high Offroad stats because they actually get a speed bonus taking the inside loop no one else can. It seems that despite one player trying this, I was still a match even on a kart with poor Offroad.

Race #5
Bowser's Castle
Darn! I had a chance to catch up in the final lap...and then the stage decides I shouldn't.

Battle #2
Balloon Battle
DS Twilight House
Unlike the fiasco in Cookie Land in the last video, the two teams here kept pretty close to each other, especially near the end. However, somehow, the opposing team somehow gained three points in rapid succession, ensuring that I am once again put on the losing team. Still, I pretty much did that for my own team after bashing people one after another with Red Shells.

Battle #3
Funky Stadium
This one also remained close until the end. I thought we were going to tie for sure. While I was largely a non-participant until the home stretch in the above video, I was a key member for this one.

  • Overhazard, what is the name of the kart you used on GBA Shy Guy Beach?

  • @AgentBlitz That's the B Dasher Mk II in the USA. I forgot what its European name is.

  • @Overhazard Actually, it's called the Sprinter.

  • @kjnjkmjk1 Right. That sounds correct.

  • Hey Overhazard, I'm trying to get back in Mario Kart Wii but I must know a coulple of things

    1.Are there still many hackers?

    2.Forums still lively?

  • @ubermaster1 Hackers exist but are rarer than the outbreak a year or so ago. Also, I don't know what you mean by forums.

  • @Dzzy123 No, you'll mainly see it used on Time Trials. The reason you don't see much from the Dolphin Dasher is because it's largely considered second-best: The people who strictly want to win will just use the Mach Bike. The people who are sick of these serious players know the Dolphin Dasher is used by some of them and won't use them.

  • I wish they brought back the bom-omb mode from Double Dash! Hopefully they do for Mario Kart 3DS or Mario Kart Wii U...

  • Why is it that I don't see you, or anyone else using the Dolphin Dasher online? Is that bike bad? Because I always use it...
