I did not plan or rehearse this mix. This is done totally on the fly otherwise it would have been much cleaner with more regard to proper usage of hooks & breaks in the music. There are no tricks or deceit involved. Since my bpm(s) are already set on most of my files, it allows me to blend & sync my tracks faster than ever. I expected the video to be at least an hour, but the camera or battery shut down without my knowledge. This video was not made to showcase my scratching or platter tricks or effects which are largely unnecessary in real world situations. This video was made to show speed and proficiency in blending and syncing hip hop. The piece of equipment to my right is a custom touchscreen jukebox I built containing over 25,000 albums.

My review of the Numark NS7 back in May of 2009.
http://reviews.cnet.com/audio-input-devices/numark-ns7/4864-3144_7-33542259-2...
I am using Virtual DJ Pro 7.05 with a HP Pavilion 9933CL entertainment laptop containing an Intel core 2 duo 2.10 GHz processor with a 32bit version of Windows Vista Ultimate. I recommend a laptop/desktop of higher specification for mixing video. I am not a fan of Serato's overpriced bloatware and by using Virtual DJ I don't have to waste money & space on the NS7FX or Serato Video-SL. Those who are still having problems running the Numark NS7 are simply not buying computers that are up to specification. And any idiot that makes pompous comparisons between $1500 - $2000 Mac Airs and $500 - $700 laptops from Walmart & Best Buy will be deleted. There are comparable laptops at a reasonable price of $800 on up that will meet specifications.
Minimum System Requirements: 32-bit Windows 7 / Vista: Intel* processor, 1.8GHz Core 2 Duo; 2MB L2 cache; 2GB RAM Windows XP: Intel* processor, 1.8GHz Core 2 Duo; 2MB L2 cache; 1GB RAM 64-bit Windows Vista: Intel* processor, 2.2Ghz Core 2 Duo; 2MB L2 cache; 4GB RAM Windows 7: Intel* processor, 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo; 3MB L2 cache; 4GB RAM
How did you get the ns7 to sync with an hp instead of a mac? i have the same laptop as the one you're using, Any help would be appreaciated. Thanks.

@musicman31313
You need to have a 32bit version of Vista on the HP Pavilion 9933CL. If you have a 64 bit version you will be slightly below spec' and experience lag. With 32bit you only need 1.8 ghz of processing power, but with 64bit you need 2.2 ghz. I also have the latest version of Virtual DJ which is 7.05. I still recommend a stronger computer for video which can be had for as little as $600 online currently. I bought my laptop & NS7 back in March 2009.

@djtkaze Thanks for the feedback! I have never been a fan of Serato's overpriced bloatware and by using Virtual DJ I don't have to waste money & space on the NS7FX or Serato Video-SL plug-in. VirtualDJ should have been the primary application anyway as it was with Numark Cue and Virtual Vinyl; however, due to the fact that Serato was lucky enough to grab the title of industry standard it was in Numark's best interest to deal with them if it was to be considered a serious hardware alternative.
