How to remove the transponder chip from Subaru key for use as transponder by-pass for remote starter so you don't have to hide a whole key under dash or hack one up. I used gray key so it can be seen better in video but it works on the black keys as well. This is for the fat keys not the tear drop looking keys.

  • Can I remove a transponder key head and add it to my cheap non-transponder spare and expect my truck to run?

  • @dattdude87 yes.
