A Russian Soyuz TMA-05M spacecraft launched to the International Space Station on July 15 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Inside the spacecraft for the two-day journey are Expedition 32/33 Soyuz Commander Yuri Malenchenko, NASA Flight Engineer Suni Williams and Flight Engineer Aki Hoshide of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, the station's next crew. The trio will dock to the station July 17 to start a four month tour, joining station Commander Gennady Padalka, NASA Flight Engineer Joe Acaba and Russian Flight Engineer Sergei Revin, who have been on the outpost since mid-May.

    Russian tech,

it is often being ridiculed for no reason,

lot of other nations can learn a thing or two from russian engineering,

yes, they dont try to make things as user friendly and pretty all the time,

but their devices are sturdy and reliable, and i wouldn't ask for more,

its a rocket not an apple product,

it its strong and reliable, ill take it.

    "... to our ISS..."

Just remember WHO started creating the Orbital Space Stations since "Salut-1" in 1971 until "Mir" in 1986... ISS would never exist without this experience.

Pretty amazing that the Soyuz has been in service since 1966! When they designed this rocket system they sure built them to last and for being reliable. Amazing piece of engineering.

Exactly, the problem is that the commander cannot reach most of the controls in his reach so what happens is that the commander uses a stick to press the controls that are far away from him.
