None of these products make you look smaller or slimmer..it just helps lift and tuck certain areas..if your a size 18 without the Spanx..u will be a size 18 with them. Also skinny girls use Spanx as well. Also some men should use Spanx too..baggy pants and oversized shirts were once in stlye and men could hide imperfections bt now I have seen too many men trying to wear skinny jeans, tailored pants and slimmer shirts. have seen many so called "skinny" men with overhang, boobies, and pot bellies

@d1sturb3d0ne True, but then again if Spanx products are false advertising, so are push up bras, makeup, etc. so it's hard to cast stones at only one product.

@mrN3w7 Ofcourse it will and all woman (and men!) should excersise and eat better...but I think when a woman has just had a baby, feeling like shit, its going to take a couple of months to get back in shape...this just helps them feel a bit better in their clothes!

Every time I see a comercial for one of these things it makes me sad. In America a place with such possibilties. All it seems people want to do is look better, look skinier. While the same time they're eating fast food, soda and chips. I wish you all the best and hope if you want to get healthy you will.
