Haiti Jan, 2010

This is a slide presentation I prepared for our church after coming home from Haiti in late January, 2010. We spent 4 days at Sacre Coeur Hospital in Milot, Region du Nord as part of a relief team from TouchGlobal (Evangelical Free Church of America). The EFCA (www.efca.org) has three churches in and around Cap Haitien, one that is just 5 km from the hospital. Our team consisted of two cardiologists, an ER doc, an Internist, two nurses and a pastor. The churches are supported by Vision of Hope Ministries (www.vohmhaiti.com).

We arrived 12 days after the earthquake and spent the next 4 days helping the fabulous surgical teams at the hospital care for the many injured flown in by the US Navy and Coast Guard from PAP. At times we received 4 trauma patients every 15 minutes.

It was a tremendous honor to work alongside the dedicated and tireless doctors sponsored by CRUDEM (www.crudem.org). Thank you, Dr. Peter Kelly and CRUDEM, for allowing us to share in your mission to the people of Haiti.
