No offense, but why do people still buy and use SD cameras? You can get a DSLR recording 1080p for less the price of this camera. It's just strange.
-
@kfred108 That's some helpful info. Thanks.

Just a quick question. Can you change the shutter speed in-camera?

I love my DVX, had it for 4 years and it still runs like new
-
@Skategoat12 it does fit an mkll but the best for skating is the panasonic hvx200 or panasonic hmc150, with century optics extreme or 16X9 fisheye
-
I have the same question as Robert08010 why is this filling the 16:9 space when its 4:3 ?
-
@Skategoat12 yeah man, it fits an MKII
check out my vids if you want an example of how it looks, I've got the DVX and MKII fishy for it

Awesome footage. What specific effects did you use in Pro 2.0?
What are the advantages of 24PA vs 24P?
-
This is a great test! btw is there anyway you can tell me where that first song is from or how I would get it? I've had this open for weeks simply listening to the song and watching this gorgeous video - I would appreciate this SO MUCH! thanks
-
Every time I see footage from a DVX100b I fall in love with the camera all over again.
-
Found it interesting; variety of scenes & subjects
-
Still for sale?
-
Very 90's looking...but I mean that in a good way of course. The color is very refressing.

If this was shot in 4:3... how did you get it to "letterbox" status... I use FInal Cut Pro as an editing software... Is there a way to stretch the footage to fit or something?
THanks in advance for the tips!

I believe i just used the yt codes. Ha it has been awhile. try these.
yt:crop=16:9 (zooms in on the 16:9 area, removes windowboxing)
yt:stretch=16:9 (fixes anamorphic content by scaling to 16:9)
yt:stretch=4:3 (fixes 720x480 content that is the wrong aspect ratio by scaling to 4:3)
yt:quality=high (default to a high quality stream, depending on availability)

Just curious why this isn't filling the window on youtube? Is this just letter-boxed 16:9 standard def? Is this HD or isnt it?
