これはローバースターリングですね。本国では最初から８００の名­前でしたが、日本では最初スターリングと言ってました。また当時­ローバーとホンダは相互生産をしており、ヨーロッパ向けはローバ­ーがホンダレジェンドも、日本向けはローバースターリングをホン­ダが狭山製作所で生産していました。今見るとすっきりしていて悪­くないデザインだと思います。

まず、この車は８００でしょう（観た限り）。

ならば、HONDAレジェンドを流用です。

1.6Lの200(クーペ）、400（セダン）がコンチェルトを­流用。

200オーナでしたが、ダッシュボート周りは、コンチェルト

そのままでした、外装はインテグラより好みでした。

この車は中身はホンダのコンチェルト（当時のカローラより少し大­きいセダン）辺りだな。ローバーとして買うと高い値つけに・・・­。

The Rover 800 was co-developed with Honda - this car shared a lot with the first Honda Legend. Honda Legends were built for the European market by Rover along with these in Cowley - I think Rover 800s may have been built in Japan too by Honda for the Asian market.

wow you get a lot of british car manufacturers over there in japan but like one of the previous comments. they did use honda engines. but so did a lot of british manufacturers some even coppied the japanese manufacturers designs like the "bedford rascal" they were based on a lot of japanese mini wagon/vans
