Roebling Road Mustang GT chasing modded S2000

This was taken running with Seat-time.com on Friday July 16, 2010. Not many people came, and the track was relatively empty. An S2000 driver seemed to want to have some fun, and I obliged. He was driving extremely well in a very fast car, and I had a hard time trying to even keep up. His S2000 has a modified suspension, modified exhaust, a rear wing he was testing, and was running on RE-11 tires. It was a lot of fun to chase.

I am in a modified 1998 Mustang GT. It weighs 3500lbs w/ driver with roughly 300rwhp. I have upgraded the suspension and brakes, and I am running on Nitto NT01 tires.

Looked like fun w/ the S2000, and it seems like a fast track! what suspension and brakes are you running...?

@aruddfan It definitely was fun. It is the fastest track I have been to with the two 100mph corners. I have brembo/cobra brakes, drop spindles, coilovers on konis, MM panhard bar, fca, and lca's.

Looking good as usual. You should have hung around and met with some of us coming in for Saturday's event.

I had a bad day Saturday and put mine in the fence but it just got a few scratches. I put it on the trailer after the 3rd session and called it a weekend. I blame it on the Seat Time guys dropping tires in the dirt and putting sand all over the track. :}

@sandyman099 Sorry to hear about your incident. Glad to hear the damage was minor. I would have loved to stick around longer, but my day was cut short too and the drive home is long. It looks like I will be building a new engine. At least now I have an excuse to build it bigger and better.

@cxavier68 Sounds like a rush! Just another of the MANY tracks I'll have to add to my wish-list (where I want to run my GR40 Fox); there are so many awesome tracks across our great county, just not enough time (or money) to get to all of them!!!
