Well said Peter, why we would we all watch if it really is that banal? Although, what I think he was hinting at with The Sun reference is that its readership base is far larger than that of The Guardian - I think about nearly 3 million a day.

On the one hand this jerk John says how bad you are Peter and then on the other hand he admits how great the outcry will be against his derision of you. He knows you are loved and supported and this was his outcry against his own lack reknown and support thereof.
Trying to build himself while knocking someone else down...
The definition of banality -not to mention forgettable- see John Sutherland -

What a jerk. He could not be any more wrong. Your great and your story is a thrilling ride.

thats horrible! that guy shouldnt have been able to post that article in the paper!
you're not a digital nobody in the least.

Well said Pete well said! That was great!

Wow ... that was amusing, sorry: as hell! You tell this bloke off exactly they way he deserves it :-)!
It's indeed easy and cheap to ramble negatively and disapprovingly about something one hasn't dealt with, but Mr Sutherland sure wasn't aware who he was up to!
Best entertainment here, and so true words about YouTube. Thanks! Can't wait for part 2 ... just two clicks away, though :-)!

Dear Peter
You have the right opinions on these issues. I remember when the danish goalkeeper, Peter Schmeichel, did'nt want to speak with the press, they just potrayed him as a grumpy and unsocial person. The media is not the truth, but one angle of it. Keep on doing what you're doing. The support of the YT-community is with you! :)
