Ka`ena Point is located on the northwestern tip of O`ahu, Hawai`i. In many ways, it is the closest most people will get to an ecosystem like the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands.
Native seabirds like the Laysan Albatrosses and Wedgetail shearwaters nest at Ka`ena but are threatened by predators like dogs, cats, and rodents.
