The best part of CES (the Consumer Electronics Show) is when you get to sit down with executives from your favorite companies. Audi has been pushing automotive design and cars further than, well, anyone, and so it was a great thrill to have lunch with a couple of journalists from Engadget, and Autoblog and hear Audi's CEO Rupert Stadler's thoughts. Rupert is in middle with the red tie. Also with him are Ricky Hudi, head of electronics development, and Mathias Halliger, head of architecture MMI systems.

  • I like this. You see that Rupert Stadler and the other guys seem enthusiastic about their job and the upcoming technology. Not like the other "old-school" CEOs.

    On a side, where's the food?! :-)

  • I would like to have more information about the plans of bringing LTE connectivity to Audi cars. Do you happen to know more about what kind of hardware will be installed in the car, antennas, processors? When are they planning to launch it to the market?

  • I was surprised by Rupert Stadler's awkward "corporate" English.
