I never met Mr. Geller, but I wish I had. RIP

I don't know this gentleman but I sure am glad that we have crossed paths in cyberspace! I aspire to be that teacher that Mr. Geller was! Math is the most challenging subject I have EVER taught!

Thank you for 5 semesters of math team, 1 semester of algebra and geometry, and your passion for education. Class of 1998 and I still remember you! I will always think of you when I have a patient with melanoma.

Wonderful speech.
There are many secular causes to which one can contribute as well.

I had Mr. Geller for calculus back in the fall of 1991. A classmate of mine, who is now a teacher herself at Stuyvesant, told me about his death. He touched literally thousands of lives with his passion for teaching and for math but we all knew his true love was his family. My thoughts are with his wife, his children, and all his family and friends.
RIP Mr. Geller..
