  • Hello, cool video. I just got my hands on a used cdj100s. It works great the only problem is I need to take the search and cue buttons off just to clean the pop/whatever it is off them.Everything works just sticky.I took it apart but cant seem to figure out how to lift the circuit board because its hooked to the jog wheel. Do you have to clip those snip points on the board? I put it back together and it all still works but it really needs the buttons cleaned to make it stop sticking. any ideas?

  • you must remove jog wheel - like removing cap from rotary potentiometer - and remove the nut which holds the rotary encoder to front panel.

I don't think so cleaning the switches is the good idea. New switches are not too expensive. I'm from Poland and I haven't any problems to obtain the Pioneer parts. So - these parts must be accesible all over the world :)

If these informations weren't helpful, give me your e-mail by the private message, I'll send you further informations:)

  • lol good way to pass the time i supose i was going to get a piar of these as starter cdj decks usually i use records but i cant do any parties with tt there too big lol do these have track search using the jog wheel??

  • yes. when you push the button of search, the player is going forward or rewind slow. but turning the jog wheel with holding one of the 'search' switches is the way to going forward or rewind faster.

for the track search there is the same method: you must hold the track search switch and turn the jog wheel :)

imo it's a great idea, very useful.

  • Good movie :)

  • :) I made this movie when I replace the CUE switch with switch from "JET". I will make more movies about cdj100s, but cdj100s is very old device & some djs says it's a piece of shit. I don't agree with this opinion, I like my cdj100 and I think it's better device for learning than some shit like Omnitronic, Denon etc. Pioneer is Pioneer :)

sorry for my English. Cheers :)
