Most people are familiar with the 1955 version of this song by the Cowboy Church Sunday School or Pebbles and BamBam version from about 1960. This version by The Lancers was released in 1954 and is very hard to find. Even though this version did not chart, I think it is much better than the other two previously mentioned versions. See if you don't agree. The flip side of this record is "Tweedlee Dee", the same song made famous by Georgia Gibbs in 1955.

  • OMG... All this time I thought the lyrics says "Let the sunshine in,Face it with a GIN"

  • @staseyadams WHAT`S YOUR PROBLEM WITH G-pa ???

  • I'm glad I have found this version!

I just watched some Flintstones and liked the song by Pebbles + Bamm Bamm. But I can't getting used to the childish voice!

YEAH watching Flint Stones again after about 20 years.... is not as funny as earlier... :(

  • This song gives me the heebie-jeebies. Christian kids songs kinda crack me up. No offense to all you Christan-type people out there. Don't get me wrong... I love God and Jesus and stuff. I just can't stand corny goofy christian stuff. It makes me all freakin' stupid and I forget how to dance to the Boogie-Woogie jazz type Negroid boom chaka laka laka stuff. Oy fu cking vey!!! Can you understand where I am coming from?(besides the Pebbles and Bamm Bamm cartoons?)

  • I sang this song many times as a child and taught it to my daughter, and now my grandchildren. Plan on teaching it at VBS next week.
