Nic Potter is probably best known for his work with the British rock band Van Der Graaf Generator. Initially however Nic played in a band called The Misunderstood along with Guy Evans who would also join Van Der Graaf Generator. Nic joined Van Der Graaf Generator in 1969 and recorded the album The Least We Can Do Is Wave To Each Other and recorded part of the next album H To He, Who Am The Only One before leaving. He was however to return to the band later in the seventies and played on two more albums from the band, the studio album The Quiet Zone/The Pleasure Dome and the live album Vital before the band split.

In between times and of course beyond his final stint with Van Der Graaf Generator Nic Potter has had an extensive solo career recording a number of solo albums and for a short period in the early to mid eighties was a member of Peter Hammill's band The K Group.

All Contained is a limited edition boxed set containing ten of Nic Potter's solo albums including: The Long Hello Volume Two, Self Contained, Dreams Ion View 81-87,Dreamworld, Mountain Music & Sketches In Sound, New Europe-New Colours, Mountain Music, Sketches In Sound, The Blue Zone, The Blue Zone Party Live At The Dome London.

The box also contains an exclusive interview DVD filmed in London in 2009 where Nic discusses his career both before during and after Van Der Graaf Generator and of course his solo car5eer and the albums contained in the All Contained box.

Nic Potter has also signed each box and included an art print.
