@lightndarking yall not understanding me, im talking about vocals to me patti is a better vocalist, and out of that list it dont matter how many hits they have, beyonce will always sing better than rihanna, whitney and mariah are about even, but patti sings better than aretha to me, thats all im saying to me patti is the queen even tho aretha has accomplished more in her career

@mrneverbackupordown Patti actually came out in a girl group in the early 60's, and she is a great singer/performer no doubt, she Patti's a legend! But Aretha has been out as a solo artist longer, her overall career is way greater than Patti's, it has nothing to do how long they been out, both the late-great Whitney Houston who came out in 1984 and Mariah Carey who came out in 1990 has more #1's than Patti. I mean Rihanna has more #1's than solo Beyonce..#justsayin

@lightndarking im not talking about career wise like i said hands down aretha would win because she's been around longer, im talking about pure vocal ability and to me patti would still win, now patti came in the the early 70s aretha was out in the 60s if im not mistaken thats a big time difference to me and for patti to do what she did and manage to be compared to aretha i would say Patti=Queen

@mrneverbackupordown Ok first off, Aretha's competition was not just Etta or Dionne, Patti was out back then too, (look it up) was she making hits???? No! Did she make hits on Aretha's level, crossing over charts??? No!... Matter of fact, I'll be fair, starting from the time period Patti started making hits..Who had the most #1's, Aretha dragged Patti with 10 #1's compared to Patti's 5 #1's (that's not counting the years before Patti was finally recongnized)..Aretha=Queen!
