@ffreniere The cool thing is Bob's voice is still just as smooth now as it was when I met him over a quarter of a century ago...like a young Ray Price even though he's older than I am (which I never let him forget). The only thing I miss about living around Nashville is not seeing him and getting to go set up sound and act as bouncer/escort for the band's ladies on the weekends...good times, great music, cold beer and greasy food!

Got to know Jeff and Bob has been a friend for nearly a quarter century....Bob is still one of my favorite singers...I have all his albums (2) :)
And several unreleased studio cuts done late at night.

Jeff really had a feel for the music...you ncan hear his involvement with the lyrics. It's almost as if he was singing and I suppose he really was.
Got a phone call from Bob Browning the other night (we have the same birthday) It was good to hear from him again. I found copies of his 2 records on VINYL! on ebay and bought both...had the cassettes but VINYL!!!
He will always be one of my favorite singers, even if he wasn't one of my best friends :)
If I can get the equipment to transfer the records to mp3 I'll try my hand at posting them.

I'll try to put up Jeff and Bob live at ISGC 1981 doing "The Last Letter." It's killer.
