Two GE horsehead widecabs lead an eastbound intermodal train at Collier Yard. The first unit is an ex-Conrail C40-8W that has a weird-sounding Leslie S3L horn.

  • Neat-sounding horn. Is there any difference between an S3L and an RS3L? I see the S..RS difference everywhere with Leslie horns, and I can't find any reasoning for it.

  • I think it has something to do with the tuning. I'm not sure though.
