Riding the freight elevator at the NTID Building at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The door motors are broken, since they do not respond, even if I use the key.

  • do the doors have electric latches for floors that the car is not on? Probably to override a broken sensor

  • said door buttons are placed for when they motorize them.

  • The key is for the doors. They make you open them

  • Cool elevator.

  • nice video

  • So they had motors they were just broken?

  • Hmm, this one looks familiar! Interesting that the freight elevator in the NTID building has an alarm bell and a phone!

  • Wow!n That is fast for a hydraulic elevator.

  • OOPS! Don't you hate it when that happens? Push button for the floor you want only to figure out you already on that floor?! Been there, done that! Nice Video!
